Research

The basic science and clinical studies that are carried out by hematology faculty cover a broad range of hematologic malignancies and blood disorders. Basic research is currently underway in vascular biology and angiogenesis, tumor immunology, telomere dynamics, and oncogene activation. The clinical investigators in hematology utilize discoveries from the laboratories of investigators worldwide to develop and test novel therapeutic approaches in clinical trials.
